There are a lot of moments and things we didn’t witnessed to see.  How we would like to see Leonardo daVinci when he is up on the wooden planks with paints all over his hands rendering the Last Supper in Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy.  A wide angle shot is very nice to cover all the missing parts of the whole painting while he is in action, arms raised and paint brush is in his hands.  Likewise, when Sir Isaac Newton is thinking to formulate the Laws of Motion, picture the depth of his eyes and the language of his face how can he spill his knowledge to bring our generation easier for us.  A portrait shot would be nice but then again this is a very concentrated moment so you wouldn’t like to disturb him so you need a zoom lens to take his portrait shot. Visualize Napoleon Bonaparte in his full colorful uniform leaning on the table and planning for what’s next strategy he’s going to do in invading Russia during the Peninsular War.  A full body shot showing his petite size as a leader could be a great frame.  Locally, how scenic it is to see our own Pasig River when she was still pristine and free from any form of pollution.  A landscape shot would be beautiful with the reflection from the sun on the waters would be spectacularly scenic.

I didn’t expect that I am going to like photography.  My first camera is a Sony Alpha 200 with kit lens of 18-70mm and 75-300mm zoom lens.  At first, I was happy but as days goes on…ohh, why did I buy this?  My interest sparked when my friends saw my shots and dubbed it good.  That’s how photography evolved in me from where the Like became a Passion.  Consequently, I got my 2nd DSLR a Nikon D5100.  This suits me well although it’s still an entry level SLR and I’m still in a beginner stage as I can say in this field of photography because I am still under the 10,000 shot, like Henri Cartier-Bresson said that “your first 10,000 photographs are your worst”.

Like my site title says “photography is not how you see things, it is how you visualize things”.  That’s how I see it because everyone can be a photographer in your own sense but you must think first how you’re going to make every angle of your shot with distinction apart from the others.
You’ve got to push yourself harder. You’ve got to start looking for pictures nobody else could take. You’ve got to take the tools you have and probe deeper.” – William Albert Allard

I’d like to thank my Family (Agnes my wife, my 2 daughters Alec and Ainge and my son Adam) for supporting my work and being my subjects sometimes. They are my inspiration in every shot I make. Love you all.

It is a pleasure to have you and see my photo gallery. I hope you visit more often and see more of my photos in the future. I’m glad to share and inspire.

Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16)

To God Be the Glory!
